Access Control

The Access Control tab determines who can view and participate in your event. Access it from Settings in the event sidebar.

PublicAnyone with the link can access the event. No sign-in required.
Password ProtectedAttendees must enter a password to access the event.
Admin OnlyOnly organization admins can access the event. Use this during setup.

When you set your event to Password Protected:

  1. Set a password in the Access Control tab
  2. Share the password with your attendees separately (email, slide, verbal)
  3. Attendees enter the password once — it’s remembered for the session

Live Room uses permission levels across all interaction features (Q&A, comments, reactions, voting):

Permissions are controlled per feature in the Interactions settings tab.
