Access Control

The Access Control tab determines who can view and participate in your event. Access it from Settings in the event sidebar.

Event Visibility

Level	Description
Public	Anyone with the link can access the event. No sign-in required.
Password Protected	Attendees must enter a password to access the event.
Admin Only	Only organization admins can access the event. Use this during setup.

Password Protection

When you set your event to Password Protected:

1. Set a password in the Access Control tab
2. Share the password with your attendees separately (email, slide, verbal)
3. Attendees enter the password once — it’s remembered for the session

Tip

Use a simple, easy-to-type password. Attendees will be entering it on their phones.

Permission Levels

Live Room uses permission levels across all interaction features (Q&A, comments, reactions, voting):

Level	Description
Disabled	Feature turned off entirely
Enabled	Anyone with access to the event can participate

Permissions are controlled per feature in the Interactions settings tab.
