Access Control
The Access Control tab determines who can view and participate in your event. Access it from Settings in the event sidebar.
Event Visibility
Section titled “Event Visibility”| Level | Description |
|---|---|
| Public | Anyone with the link can access the event. No sign-in required. |
| Password Protected | Attendees must enter a password to access the event. |
| Admin Only | Only organization admins can access the event. Use this during setup. |
Password Protection
Section titled “Password Protection”When you set your event to Password Protected:
- Set a password in the Access Control tab
- Share the password with your attendees separately (email, slide, verbal)
- Attendees enter the password once — it’s remembered for the session
Permission Levels
Section titled “Permission Levels”Live Room uses permission levels across all interaction features (Q&A, comments, reactions, voting):

| Disabled | Feature turned off entirely |
| Enabled | Anyone with access to the event can participate |
Permissions are controlled per feature in the Interactions settings tab.
