Curation

Curation is how you organize and prioritize content during a live event. In the Producer, items move through a series of columns — each representing a stage in your workflow.

The Producer uses a kanban-style layout with five columns:

Incoming → Preparing → Presenting → Used
↘ Rejected
ColumnPurpose
IncomingWhere new items arrive — audience questions land here, and newly created content starts here.
PreparingYour staging area. Drag items here to review, edit, and reorder before showing them.
PresentingYour “on deck” queue. Items here are visible on the Presenter View.
UsedArchive for items that have already been shown.
RejectedItems you’ve dismissed or don’t want to use.

There are two ways to move items:

  • Drag and drop — grab a card and drop it into any column.
  • Context menu — right-click a card (or click the ••• menu) and select Move to to pick a column.

Within the Preparing and Presenting columns, you can also drag cards up and down to reorder them. The other columns maintain their own ordering and don’t support manual reordering.

  1. Questions arrive in the Incoming column as attendees submit them
  2. Review and triage — drag good questions to Preparing, reject off-topic ones to Rejected
  3. Stage your queue — reorder items in Preparing to plan your sequence
  4. Move to Presenting — drag items to Presenting when you’re ready to feature them
  5. Go Live — hit the Go Live button to show an item on the Display View and Activity Feed
  6. Advance — use Next to move through your queue, automatically archiving used items
  • Collapse columns you’re not using (click the chevron) to focus on what matters right now
  • You can skip the Preparing column entirely — drag straight from Incoming to Presenting if you’re comfortable going faster
  • Items can move backwards too — drag something from Used back to Preparing if you want to revisit it
  • The Activity Feed toggle on each card is independent of columns — an item can be in any column and still appear (or not) in the feed
