Comments Tab
The Comments tab shows all comments across your event, grouped by moderation status. Comments are responses that attendees leave on items (questions, polls, slides, etc.) when commenting is enabled.
You can also view and manage comments for a specific item by clicking the comment count badge on any card in the Q&A or Content tabs — this opens a comments dialog where you can moderate, delete, and post comments inline.
Comment statuses
Section titled “Comment statuses”| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Awaiting your review (if moderation is on) |
| Approved | Visible to all attendees in the Activity Feed |
| Rejected | Hidden from attendees |
What each comment shows
Section titled “What each comment shows”- Comment text — the attendee’s response
- Author name — who wrote it (or “Anonymous”)
- Parent item — which question, poll, or content item this comment belongs to (with an icon showing the item type)
- Timestamp
Actions
Section titled “Actions”For each comment, you can:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Approve | Make the comment visible to all attendees |
| Reject | Hide the comment from attendees |
| Delete | Permanently remove the comment |
Enabling comments
Section titled “Enabling comments”Comments can be enabled at two levels:
Global (all new items)
Section titled “Global (all new items)”In Event Settings → Interactions:
- Enable comments — master toggle
- Auto-add comments — when on, every new item automatically has comments enabled
Per item
Section titled “Per item”In the Q&A Tab or Content Tab, each card has a Comments toggle in its footer. This lets you enable or disable comments on individual items.
The per-item toggle is only active when the item is shown in the Activity Feed (Activity Feed toggle must be on).
- If comment volume is high, keep moderation on. For smaller events, auto-approve keeps the conversation flowing.
- Check the Comments tab periodically during your event — it’s easy to miss comments when focused on the Q&A and Content tabs.
