Polls

Polls let you gather instant feedback from your audience. Attendees vote on their device and see results update live.

When a poll is activated:

  • A poll card appears in the Activity Feed
  • Attendees tap their choice(s) and submit
  • Results update in real time as votes come in (depending on visibility settings)
  • Attendees can see the total number of voters

Polls support both single choice (pick one) and multiple choice (pick several).

From the + Create button → Poll:

After creation, use the card toggles to control Activity Feed visibility, comments, and popup notifications.

AlwaysResults visible immediately, even before voting
After voteAttendees see results only after they’ve voted
After closeResults hidden until you close the poll
NeverResults only visible to organizers in the Producer

From the Producer:

  • Open/Close voting — toggle in the Poll Settings section of the edit modal
  • Go Live to display the poll full-screen on the Display View
  • Activity Feed, Comments, and Voting — controlled via card toggles in the footer
  • Popup — push a notification to attendees’ screens (auto-expires after 30 seconds)
  • Poll options are locked after votes are received to prevent data inconsistency

When a poll is sent to the Display View:

  • The question and options are shown full-screen
  • Vote bars animate in real time as votes arrive
  • The display auto-scales font size based on the number of options
  • Total vote count is shown

The Presenter View also shows all poll results so the speaker can reference them.

  • Launch polls at key moments to keep energy up — after a speaker makes a point, or during a transition
  • Use “After vote” results visibility to encourage participation before revealing the crowd’s opinion
  • For icebreaker polls, show results immediately to build excitement
  • Close polls before moving to the next topic so late votes don’t trickle in
  • The Display View makes poll results a great visual moment — put them on the big screen
