Content Tab

The Content tab is where you manage all non-question content. Here are the content types you can create:

TypeDescription
PollsLive voting questions with single or multiple choice options
SlidesPresentation slides uploaded from PDF, synced to attendee devices
Welcome CardAn introductory card for the event — typically the first thing attendees see
Speaker ProfileSpeaker name, bio, and photo
Check-inAn attendance check-in — attendees tap to confirm they’re present
LinkA URL to an external resource (article, PDF, video, case study)
FormsSurveys, signup forms, and feedback requests

Content items flow through three columns:

ColumnPurposeDraggable?
PreparingItems staged and ready to useYes
PresentingCurrently live on the Display View. Green background.Yes
UsedPreviously shown, now archivedNo (read-only)

Unlike the Q&A Tab, there’s no Incoming or Rejected column — you create content items yourself.

The Content tab shows all content types mixed together by default. Use the content type filter dropdown in the Action Bar to show only:

  • Polls — live voting items
  • Slides — presentation slides from uploaded PDFs
  • Content — links, resources, announcements
  • Forms — signup forms, surveys, feedback requests

The + Create button in the Action Bar lets you quickly create:

OptionWhat it createsDetails
PollA new live pollCreating Content → Polls
FormA survey or signup formCreating Content → Forms

Other content types (slides, welcome cards, speaker profiles, check-ins, links) are created from the Content Tab’s content management area.

New items appear in the Preparing column, ready for you to go live when the moment is right.

Drag items between columns to change their status:

  • Preparing → Presenting — go live on the Display View
  • Presenting → Used — take it off the display
  • Used → Preparing — bring it back for another round

Each content card has controls specific to its type:

  • Shows the question, options, and live vote counts
  • Open/Close — stop or resume accepting votes
  • Toggle Popup — push a notification to attendees’ screens (auto-expires after 30 seconds)
  • Results visibility — shown on the card (Always, After Vote, After Close, Never)
  • Shows a thumbnail preview and page number
  • Original filename displayed for reference
  • Slides are created by uploading a PDF — each page becomes a separate card
  • Various subtypes: welcome, speaker profiles, check-in items, links
  • Displays the content preview
  • Shows form title, description, and question count
  • Anonymous indicator if anonymous responses are allowed
  • View Responses — see all submitted form data

For full details on card controls (Activity Feed toggle, comments toggle, voting, more menu), see Cards & Actions.

  • Pre-load slides and polls before your event starts — create them in Preparing so they’re ready to go
  • Use the type filter to focus on just polls when running a polling segment, or just slides during a presentation
  • Don’t forget to close polls when you’re done — otherwise votes keep trickling in
  • Import Content lets you reuse items across events (great for recurring content like speaker bios)
