Slides

Slide Sync lets you push presentation slides directly to every attendee’s device. As the speaker advances through their deck, each slide appears on attendees’ phones — no more taking photos of the screen.

How it works for attendees

  • Slides appear as cards in the Activity Feed
  • Each card shows a slide thumbnail with the slide title
  • When a slide is “live” on the Display View, it’s highlighted in the feed
  • Attendees can scroll back through previous slides at any time
  • Slides are high resolution and zoomable

Uploading slides

From the Producer panel:

  1. Click Upload Slides and select a PDF file
  2. The PDF is automatically split into individual slide images
  3. Each page becomes a separate slide item in your rundown

The upload process creates two versions of each slide:

Once uploaded, slides appear in your Producer panel rundown. You can:

  • Reorder slides by dragging them
  • Edit slide titles
  • Go Live to push a slide to the Display View and highlight it in attendee feeds
  • Enable comments on individual slides so attendees can discuss them
  • Remove slides you don’t need

When you tap “Go Live” on a slide in the Producer panel:

  1. The slide appears full-screen on the Display View
  2. The slide card is highlighted in attendees’ Activity Feed
  3. The Presenter View updates to show the current slide
  4. All updates happen in real time via WebSocket — no page refresh needed

Tips

  • Upload your slides before the event starts so they’re ready in the Producer panel
  • Use descriptive slide titles — attendees see these in their Activity Feed
  • You don’t have to go live with every slide — skip title slides or transition slides
  • Enable comments on key slides to encourage discussion
  • Slides are stored in Cloudflare R2, so they load fast globally
