Going Live
“Going Live” is the core action in the Producer — it controls what appears full-screen on the Display View (projector screen) and highlights the item in the Activity Feed.
By default all items that “Go Live” on the Display View also appear in the Activity Feed. Even if a producer doesn’t have a Display View, clicking the Go Live button makes it easy to control what you show next.
How to Go Live
Section titled “How to Go Live”You can go live with any item from any column — it doesn’t need to be in the Presenting queue first.
Just click the GO LIVE button on any card (red text, appears in the card header).
If the item wasn’t in the Presenting queue, it will move to the top of the Presenting queue as it goes live. If it was in the Preenting queue, it will stay in position.
The item immediately appears full-screen on the Display View. There’s no delay — it’s instant via WebSocket.
What happens when you Go Live

Live card controls
Section titled “Live card controls”When a card is live, you’ll have the option to either:
- End Live - this takes the item off the Display. The card wil not move from its current position.
- Next - this moves the currently live item into the Used queue, and automatically takes the next item (the one under the currently live item) in the presenting queue live.
Advancing through content
Section titled “Advancing through content”The Next button is designed for sequential content like slides:
- Upload your slide deck (creates multiple slide cards in Preparing)
- Go Live with the first slide
- Click Next to advance through each slide
- Each used slide moves to the Used column automatically
This gives you a simple, linear flow for presentations.
But it doesn’t need to be items of the same type. Any item in the ‘Content’ tab can be ‘next’. Or if you’re in the Q&A tab, the next question.
Only one item can be live at a time
Section titled “Only one item can be live at a time”Going live with a new item automatically ends the previous one.
Activity Feed toggle
Section titled “Activity Feed toggle”By default, Pressing Go Live will ALSO set the item to appear in the Activity Feed This can be changed in the event settings.
At any time you can add or remove an item from the Activity Feed by toggling in the Item card.
- Pre-stage your content in the Preparing column so you can Go Live quickly during the event
- Use Next to move between slides or items to keep a smooth presentation flow
- End Live between segments to show the Activuty Feed and the QR code to join the Live Room.
